در این رویداد تخصصی، بهروز روزبه از شرکت Naughty Dog و Texture Artist بازی "Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves" همراه هنرمندان در روند مسابقه حضور داشتند و با در میان گذاشتن تجربیات خود، پاسخ به سوالات و مشکلات هنرمندان، تهیه فایل های آموزشی و ...  همراه ما بودند و این رویداد را تبدیل به رویدادی فوق العاده حرفه ای و بیاد ماندنی نمودند. این هنرمند عالیقدر خطاب به شرکت کنندگان این مسابقه متن زیر را ارسال نمودند.

In celebration for conclusion of our cg challenge I want to convey my appreciation for your hard work and encourage you to continue your journey and find your own bliss. The game art we create purpose is telling a story in the same symbolic forms which have served man kind for 200,000 years. Another individual expression for celebration of life and as foundation of its existence.

I want to emphasis importance of individual Iranian artists position in todays world, as individuals we each play a great role in our respective societies. We must be aware we live in the age of comparisons, as our first task we must study the mythologies of the world and learn universal motifs, their similarities and differences, and uses of each symbolism.

We must use our art and direct its power towards its four functions. First function of our art is reconciling our consciousness, and not criticizing it. As if you hold the mirror up to nature and make us aware of our consciousness.
Second function of art is to present a total image of universe as our consciousness understands it and encompass all of what we know.
Third function is to validate and maintain a certain moral order. this will be a difficult task In a complex society when people are divorced from nature.
Fourth function of art is to center and integrate the individual in relation to themselves, to their society, to universe, and the ultimate mystery of being and God.

In conclusion I like to share two theories of individual transformations (physical and spiritual) as described by Dante and Nietzsche

-First is Four Stages of Life by Dante

First quarter of life, First 25 years are years of growth. virtues of youth are obedience, sense of shame, grace, and beauty.

The Middle period, (maturity ) are years between 25 to 45 virtues of middle period are : reason , courage, love, loyalty, and courteousness.
Note: at the 35 age a crisis occurs..in these years : individual will have a personal realization of those truth which were suggested by the tradition in which the individual was brought up.

Ages 45to 70: age of giving and the virtues for this stage are: prudence, wisdom, magnanimity, generosity.

70 onward: age of departure....virtues are looking backward with gratitude and looking forward to death and appreciation for life

-Second is Three stages of spiritual transformations as described by Nietzsche

First stage of man and spirit is age of camel, The camel gets down on his knees and asks to put heavy burden on my shoulder to carry, so I have a job to do.
When Camel is fully loaded with Duty and Jobs and lessons and teachings and so forth, Camel gets to his feet and trouts out into desert.

Second stage of spirit is when Camel transforms into a Lion. The Lion's job is to attack and kill the Dragon (Dragon's name is thou shalt) the dragon has a thousnad golden scales and on each scale a law is written ...Dragon is the symbol of a system with many laws dating back to 3000BC.

Third stage of spirit starts after the lion kills the Dragon and there are no thou shalt s anymore. And from then on the lion is transformed into a child, with spontaneity of its own inner energy and directing its own power as if its a wheel powered from its own motor and not pulled by a string.

My point from telling you these theories is how to achieve Free spirit , The one with free spirit is the one who has achieved freedom.
I hope you can achieve free spirit and with your art you find how the imagery that have supported the mankind in the past can be applied today to empower adventures of today.
